international website
The website I chose is http://www.omep-usnc.org/. This is a worldwide organization for early childhood, and they have assisted in projects Haiti relief and Jamaica relief. "OMEP has national committees in over 60 countries
divided into five geographical regions: Africa, Asia and
the Pacific Rim, Europe, Latin America, and North
America and the Caribbean" (http://www.omep-usnc.org/). "Our goal is to ensure the wellbeing, rights, and education of
children (birth – age 8) and their families in the U.S.A. and around
the world -- today and in the future" (http://www.omep-usnc.org/).

Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing information on OMEP. I didn't realize they assisted in the Haiti and Jamaica relief project.
ReplyDeleteHello Kevin,
ReplyDeleteMy international contact sent me information about OMEP and suggested that I review their website for some of the initatives that they are involved in. She also stated that although they aim to make a difference in the lives of all children from birth through 18, their country is focusing on birth to 8 as well, especially since these are considered to be the most crucial years for development.
