The number one supporter of mine is my church and my God.
No matter what I am going through I know I can go to them for advice and just
to talk to. My God is the reason I wake up every morning so I think that is self-explanatory
of what will happen without him.
Family is something that I am very passionate about and I
really show it. I am 23 and my wife and I have been together for 8 year and
married for almost two. What makes me love my family even more is when I was 10
I had an accident and the Doctor told me it would be hard for me to have
children, but my God had different plans and blessed me with a son. Without my
family I think I would have to be put in a facility because they are people
that take me for who I am and are there for me when I am happy or when I am
sad.
Basketball is something that I love doing and put my mind
at ease. Basketball is something that I am good at playing and it helps me
because it allows me to exercise and have fun doing it. Without basketball I
think I will be hurt because it is something I do as much as possible and it allow
s me to take my mind off my problems for a while and focus on the game. If
basketball was removed from my life it would affect me because I have lost
something I love.
Getting my Masters degree in Social Work is very important to me, the thing that keeps me going in Social Work is know that I can make a difference in a person life.
Kevin, it sounds like you have your priorities and supports all lined up for you in the way they should be :) It is great when you know where you will turn when you need help and that you know there will always be someone there for you. I think believing that God is always there for you will also bring comfort, especially in times when you are not able to reach anyone else.
ReplyDeleteHi Kevin, I really like your picture representations of your supports. It sounds like you are very blessed with your wife and son. I found it interesting that you put your degree as a support, but when I think about it, that makes sense. I too am very excited to get this degree and be able, like you, to use it to make a difference.
