Personal Childhood Web

The first group of people that have been there since birth and are still doing for me as a young adult is my mom and dad. I had to list them together because they have been there for me together for as long as my memory takes me back to. They may not have have lots of money to give me but the love they showed me made up for all the material things. When i had surgeries or just got sick they always were there to make me feel better. The next people in this picture are my sisters, I am only one year older than one of them and am  four years older then the other one, but they were always around to make sure I never had a bored day of life.
This person and I have a very closed bond and I love him to death. He has been in my life for all my life just like my parents. This person is my older brother, he was the cause of my first surgery at two years old; he cut my pinkie finger off folding up my stroller. He got into many fights and arguments growing up but all brothers to that. He always was there for me to keep me out of trouble, and before he got in trouble and went to jail all he wanted me to do was finish school and be something and every time I talk to him he lets me know how proud he is of me.So that is a reason for me to keep succeeding.
My aunt, She is the rock of my family and almost everyone looks up to her. She always give encouraging words and makes sure that I have everything I need in life. She is a school social worker and she is the main reason I majored in social work because I seen her success and wanted the same for my family. As a child she always came around and made sure we were on track in school. She still calls me to make sure I am doing fine and continuing my education.

  1. Hi Kevin,

I really enjoyed reading your Personal Childhood Web. I also agree that regardless of what parents may have whether its a little or a lot their loves makes up for it. I was the little sister in my household therefore I looked up to everyone. They all made sure I was safe at all times and everything they taught me was positive and things that I could use once I grew up.

  2. What a great picture of you and your family at your graduation!
Thank you for sharing with us about your family. I hope that in the near future you will be able to tell your brother you did and are graduating with your Masters :)
