My Connections to Play

“When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all.”
Theodore Roosevelt

“Life is more fun if you play games.”
Roald Dahl, My Uncle Oswald

When I was younger, we had kickball games at my elementary school and the gym was at full capacity every game. People came to the just show support at pick up games. The major difference I see in play today than I did ten years ago is today people can't play without arguing and fighting. When I was younger we played just to have fun.

Relationship Reflection

.
The top photo is of my wife, son, and myself. They are important to me because meeting my wife was the best thing that happened to me. When we first met I had just been expelled from high school for 1 calendar year; I thought about just dropping out and getting my GED, but she told me I had made it too far to give up. My son is my everything, when I was ten I fell out a tree and hurt myself and the doctor told me it will be hard for me to have kids but 12 years later I was blessed with Kevin Jr.
The photo at the bottom is my aunt Mollie. She is my backbone, I can call and talk to her about anything. Its strange that she is a female and I have worked so much to follow in her footsteps. She is a Social Worker and so am I. I even went to the same college as she attended and got my degree. She is always encouraging and never have anything negative to say. Engaging with someone like her will allow everyone to believe the sky is the limit especially if you know where she came from.
